Samia Unleashes New Tracks ‘Hole in a Frame’ and ‘Pants’

Rising star Samia has captivated listeners yet again with the release of two new tracks, ‘Hole in a Frame’ and ‘Pants’. These songs are available alongside visually striking visualizers directed by the talented Sarah Ritter.
The new tracks follow her previous singles, ‘Bovine Excision’ and ‘Lizard’. In a twist of serendipity, the visualizer for ‘Pants’ features the talented actor Fred Hechinger, famed for his roles in ‘White Lotus’, ‘Nickel Boys’, and the much-anticipated upcoming ‘Gladiator II’.

Delving deeper into the essence of her new music, ‘Hole in a Frame’ draws inspiration from a historic incident involving Sid Vicious at Cain’s Ballroom in 1978, where he punched a wall. The exploration of themes in her music reveals a vulnerability that resonates with many.
Samia artfully pairs these tracks, stating, “I paired these tracks because they capture opposite instincts.” She elaborates, “Hole in a Frame is about a fascination with disappearing and the power of absence. Pants is about accepting a non-refundable self, social contexts and all.” This contrasts beautifully, moving from a comfort in the possibilities of emptiness to the stark reality of existence.
