Dynamic, edgy, and unapologetically bold, Fontaines D.C. has taken the music scene by storm with their latest release, ‘Here’s The Thing’, creating waves ahead of their highly anticipated fourth album, ‘ROMANCE’, due for release on 23rd August via XL Recordings. The track is described by frontman Grian Chatten as ‘an anxious tune that twists and turns in what it wants’, oscillating between pain and numbness, searching for autonomy within emotional extremes.

With ‘Here’s The Thing’, Fontaines D.C. push the boundaries of their musical repertoire, infusing elements of grunge, dystopian electronica, hip-hop percussion, and shoegaze into an 11-track masterpiece produced by the illustrious James Ford. Chatten reflects on ‘ROMANCE’ stating, ‘We say things on this record we’ve wanted to say for a long time. It’s nice to feel lighter.’
