In an inspiring reveal, Bull has dropped the curtain on their much-anticipated second album, ‘Engines Of Honey’. The lead single ‘Red Rooves’ offers a snapshot into Tom Beer’s world through his Scarborough window.

Bull, the indie-rock sensations, are back in spotlight announcing their sophomore album, ‘Engines Of Honey’, set to drop on the 1st of March. It hints at another round of evocative tunes following their hit debut, ‘Discover Effortless Living’. Gearing up excitement, they unveil the album with a charming single titled ‘Red Rooves’, a lyrical sketch of everyday awe, drawn straight from the scenes outside Tom Beer’s window.

The single emerges from intimate beginnings with a mystically broken electric guitar that birthed its main riff, and only escalates from there. Tom reveals the creation process, “I wrote it on a really broken electric guitar I have which only had a couple of strings. I recorded the riff and then started mumbling over the top.”

Their musical aim? To combine sparkly pop production akin to The Go-Go’s with a touch of original mysticism. “We were really trying to sound like the go-go’s ‘Our Lips Are Sealed’ or something, looking for sparkly pop production, so this is our attempt at that while hoping to keep the original mystic awe feeling,” explains Tom.
