Djo Unveils New Single ‘Potion’ Ahead of Album ‘The Crux’

Djo has shared his latest single ‘Potion’, creating waves of anticipation leading up to the release of his upcoming album, ‘The Crux’, on April 4th. This acoustic-led track stands out as a refreshing departure from his recent BBC Radio 1 playlisted hits, ‘Basic Being Basic’ and the Hottest Record In The World ‘Delete Ya’.

Djo describes ‘Potion’ as akin to your favorite pair of blue jeans—comfortable, familiar, and versatile. With intricate Travis picking influencing the song’s structure, he playfully notes, “it’s sort of like if Harry Nilsson and Lindsey Buckingham had a baby.” This playful metaphor speaks to the song’s unique blend of influences and its approachable vibe.

Co-produced by Djo and Adam Thein, the album ‘The Crux’ was recorded at the iconic Electric Lady Studios in New York City, renowned for its rich musical history. What makes this album even more special is the personal touch that comes from the contributions of Keery’s family and friends. Taking on the majority of instrumentation himself, Djo has ensured a deeply personal sound.

As the excitement builds for the album release, Djo has also announced an extensive tour schedule that spans across North America and Europe. His tour kicks off in April and includes multiple dates at notable venues as well as festival appearances!
