In an eruption of creative force, Silverbacks have elegantly announced their third LP ‘Easy Being A Winner’. Gearing up for release on the 18th of October, this Dublin six-piece is primed to captivate ears once more.

Mark your calendars and set your reminders, music aficionados! Silverbacks, Dublin’s electrifying six-piece ensemble, have officiated the impending release of their third LP, ‘Easy Being A Winner’. With a noticeable build-up of anticipation following their earlier hits, they’ve now graced us with the addictive new track, ‘Something I Know’, joining the lineup beside the reflective ‘Selling Shovels’.

Delving into the poetic core of their new music, lyricist and guitarist Kilian O’Kelly invites us into a storytelling experience with ‘Something I Know’. He explains the narrative as a heartfelt journey of a religious individual caught between the fervor of love and the anchors of faith. It’s a poignant exploration of inner battles and what-ifs, voiceable by many from days gone by. O’Kelly states, “The culmination of the song presents a fork in the spiritual road, leaving interpretations open to the listener.”

Further enriching the track is a familial collaboration featuring a clarinet contribution and an enigmatic spoken word passage by the father of O’Kelly and fellow vocalist/guitarist Daniel, bringing an authentic resonance to their work.

Sonic Studios in Dublin was the creative cauldron where this album took shape, with Daniel Fox (Gilla Band) piloting the production, as he did with their 2020 debut ‘Fad’ and the subsequent ‘Archive Material’ in 2022.

To commemorate this key milestone, Silverbacks announce an extensive tour through the UK and Ireland, coinciding with their album drop:
